The moment has finally arrived: “The Circle” is out in the world. We are so happy to share the new duo pieces with you.
Our album “The Circle” is a tribute to the people around us. It is about listening and being there for one another, about sharing brief moments with strangers, about friendships and about team spirit — and through this, creating something more valuable than people would ever be able to achieve on their own.
We drew the musical inspirations for “The Circle” from the encounters on our travels. In the 11 tracks we captured experiences we shared with each other, but also with many wonderful people who we met through our music and who became a part of our lives. In the process of trying to create a very colourful album, blurring the lines between genres while blending both of our musical approaches has been a delightful journey. However, one of the most exciting parts of creating this album has been inviting and uniting musicians from all over the world to jam with us on the title track: from a Chinese guzheng to Indian tablas and Turkish oud to American slide guitar.
