Falgren Busk Duo

Falgren Busk Duo

A musical marriage – probably the most precise way to describe the collaboration between violinist Bjarke Falgren and pianist Nikolaj Busk. They maintain a common passion for minimalism, nordic beauty and simple melodies, delivered with a creative and varied expression, clearly rooted in a Scandinavian folk idiom.

The duo’s debut album “Duet” from 2010 cleared the board at the Danish Music Awards, winning “Folk Album of the Year”, “Folk Act of the Year”, “Folk Musician of the Year” and “Folk Composer of the Year”.

A clear indication that Falgren and Busk have a musical collaboration which is as unusual as it is heartfelt. The two musicians have already been described as the spearheads of thei generation. Hear them in a grand “DUET”.
